At the same time it is important to remember that just because you, your friends and family think that your blog is the greatest thing since sliced bread, it doesn’t mean that your internet audience will enjoy your content. While this information could be the coolest thing in the world to you, your readers could find it completely dry.

Before you integrate a blog into your site, make sure you have the resources to populate it on a regular basis. Once you know that you are going to update your blog frequently come up with a plan of post topics. This way, you will already have an idea of what you are going to write about and can start thinking about how you want the post to go. From here, set a timeline so that you know what days you’re going to release blogs to make sure you continue to post. Once your blogs are written, have someone read it and give you feedback to make sure that your blog is as good as you think it is before you post it.
