Kristin Dye

I joined Webolutions back in 2005, when we were in a tiny office on Evans and Monaco. It has been exciting to be a part of the growth and success that we’ve had as a company over the past 8+ years. We have a team that is passionate about what we do, and everyone works hard at their pieces of the puzzle, which all come together to produce an amazing marketing plan for our clients. I enjoy building a long-term relationship with our clients. They know they can call on me to assist them with any questions they may have or find the appropriate person to help them.

Kristin’s Strengths

Futuristic – I am inspired by the future and what it could be. Through the sharing of my visions, I actively inspire others with my visions of the future.

Relator – I enjoy close relationships with others, and find deep satisfaction in working hard with team members to achieve a goal. We are a very team-oriented company and I thrive in this environment.

Empathy – I can sense the feelings of other people by imagining myself in others’ lives or others’ situations. This is a helpful strength for me in my position as Operations Manager.
Woo – I love the challenge of meeting new people. I get great satisfaction from breaking the ice and making a connection with other people.

Background & Current Responsibilities

As the Operations Manager of Webolutions, my current responsibilities include:

  • Overall financial management, from the day-to-day banking to overseeing all of the departmental budget allocations, company profitability and cost reduction.
  • Monthly client billing with over 150 ongoing clients each month, as well as managing the billing for new marketing and website clients which we begin a relationship with each month
  • Human Resources liaison handling the benefits, payroll, new employee orientation and job postings
  • Overall maintenance of office equipment, phone and computer systems
  • Annual budget and staffing plans with CEO

Kristin’s Other Passions

I have a passion for all animals, in particular, dogs and their well-being. I’ve volunteered at the Dumb Friends League for 7+ years, and spend the first half of the day each Saturday, walking dogs at the Buddy Center in Castle Rock, and at the same time using social media to ‘get the word out’ about some of the adoptable dogs.
My husband and I have 5 kids together, so much of my free time over the last 20 years has been spent raising kids, helping with school projects and putting many miles on my car driving them to various sporting/school events. As they are getting older and are now more self-sufficient, I’ve been able to focus more on myself and my interests such as writing short stories, taking my dog on long walks around our beautiful Roxborough community, and goofing off with my husband when we have the rare day off together.

Fun Facts about Kristin

I was in the movie King Kong (1976 version). Not the leading role (!), but if you look very closely in the stadium scene, there I am in the audience at 13 years old, along with my sister and grandparents.
I was a travel agent/office manager for 11 years prior to Webolutions, so I am well-versed in Caribbean travel and was fortunate enough to be able to travel to many exotic islands during that time. By far, my favorite destination is Jamaica. I’ve been twice and found the people, the culture and the gorgeous landscape more beautiful than I could ever imagine.
