“The Top Company Awards is one of the most prestigious and competitive business awards programs in Colorado,” said Sylvia Harmon, Associate Publisher of ColoradoBiz Magazine.
Criteria for the award include recognition and awards, community involvement, internal programs and perks, competitive advantage and financial performance.
Webolutions’ past recognitions include Denver’s #1 Best Place to Work and Top Web Design and Development Firm by the Denver Business Journal, a Davey Award for Website Design and a Merit Award for Website Marketing.
The Denver marketing company, which celebrates 20 years in business this year, has also been recognized for its contributions to Colorado nonprofit organizations, including Corporate Sponsor of the Year for the South Metro Denver Small Business Development Center and an Award of Excellence from the Colorado National Guard for its work helping the Jordan Armed Forces develop a social media strategy to better deal with refugees from Iraq, Palestine and Syria.
“The recognition of which we are most proud,” said Webolutions founder and CEO John Vachalek, “is our belief in building stronger communities. Our exclusive Activated Marketing™ methodology energizes entire organizations and aligns leadership visions with the passions and strengths of their teams.”
Webolutions provides active leadership in many areas for the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. Webolutions team members serve in executive roles for the Chamber’s Centennial Business Coalition and E.L.I.T.E. young professionals group. Webolutions co-sponsors one of the largest Social Media for Business Meetups in the world with the Chamber. Vachalek is a past Chair of the Board of Directors, led the development of the organization’s current brand strategy and has been honored with an Outstanding Service Award and a Leadership in Motion award. Webolutions also sponsors the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce’s annual WineFest and ArtFest.
The agency also provides speakers for SCORE and supports multiple community causes including Make-a-Wish, the Comitis Crisis Center of Aurora, the B.I.G. Day and Coats for Colorado. Two team members have held or sought public office; another sits on the Board of Directors for the Englewood Library Association and is the Chair of the Englewood Cultural Arts Commission.
“Marketing agencies,” said Vachalek, “typically focus on trying to find the magic mix of lead generation tactics and offers that will allow them to achieve success. We help our clients define a vision and then live this across all experiences. This creates far greater success and is why, in 2014, we have sustained a 60 percent growth in revenues.”
Webolutions team members enjoy an on-site health center and racquetball court, regular company social events organized by its “Culture Club,” a company-sponsored All Team Breakfast each week and a 401(k) plan with employer matching. In April, 2014, the marketing agency celebrated the most successful month in its 20-year history with a “Get Fit” Celebration, as part of which each team member received a fitness tracking monitor. “Through support and friendly competition,” said Vachalek, “we are creating a healthier and happier team.”
ColoradoBiz Magazine’s 2014 Top Company Award winners will be announced August 28, 2014, at the Seawell Grand Ballroom at the Denver Center for Performing Arts.
