Description

The Havana Business Improvement District came to Webolutions looking for help with branding for their area. The 4.3 mile stretch of Havana has 29 car dealerships, a wide variety of restaurants and ethnic grocery stores. There are also many retail stores and entertainment venues. Webolutions helped give direction to On Havana Street by building a brand, logo, Website and ongoing marketing plan. The area will host monthly events and is a great place for families to come for shopping, dining and livng.

Challenge

The Havana BID has many challenges to deal with when trying to attract visitors to the area. Havana street is very busy, run down in some places, and is not foot traffic friendly. The area also has been somewhat associated with being a high crime area. Although it has no more crime then the Denver area, people have a hard time letting go of these assumptions.

Solution

Webolutions has been working with On Havana and the BID board members to create a more family friendly atmosphere that will attract visitors from around the entire metro area. We have created a monthly ongoing calendar of events that will be hosted at various spots along Havana street. We have also helped them highlight the cultural diversity of the area by showcasing their wide variety of ethnic restaurants with International Restaurant Week. These new and exciting events will bring many people to the area who have never visited there before.
