Denver Revenue North Business Growth Summit Features Webolutions Internet Marketing Workshop
07/04/2012
DENVER, Colorado, June 27, 2012 - The first Denver Revenue North Business Growth Summit drew 1,000 attendees who attended more than 50 workshops. Webolutions Director of New Media Strategies Mike Hanbery was a featured presenter.
“We had a large and very engaged group,” said Hanbery. “The organizers did a fantastic job pulling this together. There was great energy at the conference all day.”
Hanbery’s workshop was Website Development: Understanding the Importance of Doing It Right. Tangible tips for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), local search optimization and pay per click advertising were preceded by a discussion on the importance of identifying key personas and marketing your business as an experience rather than a commodity, product or service.
In addition to providing the workshop, Webolutions provided bottled water and popcorn to attendees at the no frills, all-business event. Labels on the refreshments and conversation at the Webolutions booth asked, “What’s your N.U.D.E. score?” The question reinforced concepts referenced in Hanbery’s presentation and a frequent Webolutions theme about how sustainable referrals are generated.
“N.U.D.E. stands for novelty, utility, dependability and economy,” said Hanbery. Companies with higher N.U.D.E. scores get more referrals. So really, the question we’re asking is, ‘How referable are you?”
Hanbery also spoke about designing a website for conversion of leads, the importance of embracing social media marketing to build community around the brand and Return on Investment (ROI) measurement.
