Social Marketing for Business - Privacy and Copyright Legal Considerations of Social Marketing

In mid-February our Social Marketing for Business group sat down to learn about the Legal Ramifications of Social Marketing and Corporate Social Networking Policies. With the new age of social media taking us by storm, there are countless questions about the legalities surrounding that world. In regards to business, it can be even trickier.

Social media sites are a wonderful way to share information and content to other users. Many times, you may be passing along information that you saw elsewhere. Twitter even has a function (ReTweeting) to help you do so. But how is this not copyrighting information? What types of things do you need to watch out for? What are you legally aloud to re-post on your own social sites?

Not only is copyrighting a major concern for businesses using these social sites, but also privacy as well. The concern of what information should be shared and what shouldn't is an issue. On top of that, to consider what legally should and shouldn't be shared is a whole other animal.

Maybe you attended our last Legal Ramifications event, or even heard about it. This event will be nothing less than a wonderful informative event for all who attend. Space is limited so RSVP now!

Please contact Nicole Hurdle at Webolutions at nhurdle@webolutions.com with any questions you have.

We invite you to bring associates and friends along with you to this great informative event.
