On October 24, 2011, Webolutions Director of New Media Strategies Mike Hanbery joins esteemed business leaders to provide insight on business plans and strategies developed by participants of the US Small Business Association’s Emerging 200 (e200) program.
The e200 is an executive-level training initiative for small business owners. Denver is one of ten participating cities. Applicants are selected on criteria including a high potential for growth in underserved markets. A majority of participating businesses have increased their revenues and nearly two-thirds have created new jobs.
Mr. Hanbery has participated in this capacity since 2009. “Supporting small business development is critical,” he said. “I was honored and excited when first asked to participate and I remain just as enthusiastic about the program and my part in it.”
The e200 is rigorous, consisting of approximately 100 hours of class time per participant over nine months.
“This government program strengthens the business community,” said Hanbery. “It’s more important now than ever.”
